<p>Original 1948 window trade vintage catalog for the&nbsp;<b><span style="font-size: 14px;">RUDIGER-LANG COMPANY.</span></b>&nbsp;(Successors to Roll-Away Window Screen Company). Main office and plant was located at Eighth and Carlton Streets, Berkeley, CA.</p><p> Manufacturers of Roll-Away Window Screens and Nu-Frame Metal Flat Screens. </p><p>Roll-Away window screens roll up and down like window shades. Draw-bar operates freely in the guide so that the screen never binds or sticks while being raised or lowered. Patented automatic safety lock with finger-tip control stops screen at any height, it can't fly up out of control.</p><p>Nu-Frame screens consists of a neat, narrow metal frame, with the wire cloth held under tension by a continuous solid wire spline in a groove. This construction reinforces the corners and stiffens the frame against bow.
