You will receive one of the plants similar to the shown on the pictures. This is 1 year old plant.

The Chinese quince is a beautiful large shrub or small ornamental tree with large edible fruits scented, which is consumed in the manner of quince from us (compote, fruit paste ...). Its leaves are round and dark green, finely toothed at the edges. They become brick red in autumn, making the tree particularly decorative at this time. The pink flowering is also aesthetic. Finally, the Chinese quince has a colored bark which is detached in plates, the most beautiful effect. height: 4/5 m or more cultivation : in all ordinary soil, sun or light shade. The size is not needed but can promote fruiting if grown for this purpose. The Chinese quince is an ornamental tree, which produces perfumed and edible big fruits. Plants are shipped in containers with soil during vegetation (summer) and shipped bare rooted with soil substituted with wet wood shavings and/or shredded wet newspapers during winter month (dormancy period) wrapped in plastic.

Planting Instructions:
- Dig hole twice as wide and as deep as the pot
- Mix one part soil amendment into native soil of your garden.
- Never use potting soil with time release fertilizers in it, Most potting soils are expired and all nutrients are released already and contain dangerous levels which will burn the roots after transplantation. You can find packing date on the back side by the bar code it is TRM number.
-Loose plant's root base and place into the ground.Cover loosely.
- For best results, use Osmocote 14:14:14 slow release balanced plant food 1 month after planting it preferable in the spring time..
Don't fertilize it in the second half of the summer or right after planting.
