One striking story encourages ALL girls, rich or poor, to learn how to earn their own way in the world - Suze Ormond would be proud of that one! It's chock-full of black and white illustrations, possibly wood block prints, of animals, children, events, a few famous men & locations & MUCH more. This has a publication date of 1888, published by Worthington Company, 747 Broadway, NY. The covers are cardboard, there's some soiling and wear, the binding is somewhat loose. Pages are not numbered and some are less than perfect. It measures about 9-1/2" by 7-1/4" by 1" thick.
Because of age and storage I cannot guarantee absolutely pet free history or totally odorless condition.
