You are buying a pre-viewed, ORIGINAL VHS video, WCW (World Championship Wrestling) Best of WCW/nWo (New World Order) Fall Brawl/War Games.

Hosted by Mean Gene Okerlund (host of all the WCW Best of compilations), he takes the viewer back to the origin of the first War Games at the Great American Bash in 1987. Fall Brawl first appeared in 1991 at Clash of the Champions XVI: Fall Brawl, but the two events did not appear on pay-per-view together as a single event until 1993.

This tape features pay-per-view matches exclusively.

First up is the Fall Brawl matches.

In 1994, its Horseman vs. Horseman as "Nature Boy" Ric Flair battles his best friend and teammate, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson! You won't believe how this ends!
From the same event, The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan takes on the unpredictable madman from Truth Or consequences, Cactus Jack in a Loser Leaves WCW match!
Skipping ahead to 1997, Rick & Scott Steiner (with Ted DiBiase) compete in tag team action against Harlem Heat (Booker T & Stevie Ray, w/Jacqueline)!

After the Fall Brawl matches, former WCW Ring Announcer Gary Michael Cappetta announces the rules for the War Games. There are two rings with a steel cage surrounding them. Two teams compete against each other. Two wrestlers start out the match, with another wrestler coming in after two minutes in a stagger start. A coin toss backstage determines which team will hold the advantage in the match. Once all the wrestlers are in the ring, then the WAR GAMES begin! At this time, the match can only be won by "submit or surrender"! Anything goes!

In 1995, The Hulkamaniacs (Hulk Hogan; Randy Savage; Lex Luger; & Sting w/manager Jimmy Hart on the outside) vs. The Dungeon of Doom (Kamala; Zodiac (best known as Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake in the World Wrestling Federation, WWF); Shark (the late John Tenta, better known as "Earthquake" in the WWF); & Meng w/their manager, The Taskmaster, Kevin Sullivan.)
Oh, what a difference a year makes! In 1996, now a founder of the nWo, the New World Order, Hogan, now called "Hollywood" Hogan leads Team nWo (consisting of himself; Kevin Nash; his longtime tag team partner, Scott Hall; & nWo Sting). The nWo teases only three names only in a psychological ploy against Team WCW) against Team WCW (Lex Luger; Ric Flair; Arn Anderson; & the real Sting) (WCW fires back by only announcing three team members as well).

In 1998, the rules changed so rather than teams, now it was every man for himself; pinfalls count; and the winner gets a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship (held by Goldberg) at Halloween Havoc next month! As Mean Gene, who introduces this event, points out, there really AREN'T any rules in War Games anyhow!
