Disgrace 2007
At times this movie can be excruciating to watch, knowing Lucy has been sexually assaulted, not once but does nothing. Her father, played by John Malkovich is a bit different: His smug attitude got him dismissed from the university where he worked and he is having more difficulty adjusting in post-apartheid South Africa. Pacing is more European in flavor but the story good, based on J.M. Coetzee's prize-winning book. Interviews with cast and crew, and featurette: The making of Disgrace.
