Director Henry Jaglom must have had it bad for Tuesday Weld because the actress is in almost every scene, and always in beautiful light with loving camera angles. This movie isn't quite sure where it's going, but perhaps Jaglom was too smitten to know. It's about a woman who is living in some fantasy world. Jack Nicholson is one of her love interests. In and out of scenes pop Orson Welles, a magician in the movie. Still, it's an enchanting little film, one of the more obscure of the series in America Lost and Found, the BBS Collection put out last year by Criterion. These releases are interesting in their current commentary by directors and actors, the old outtakes and theatrical trailers. A worthwhile film for fans of the Henry Jaglom-Nicholson days.
