LITTLE WOMEN - SHERLOCK HOLMES - 2 WHITMAN BOOKS **

I'm selling two Whitman books in this deal. First we have a copy of "Little Women," by Louisa May Alcott, with illus. by Jill Elgin. This has a 1955 copyright date and no. 1605 on the back cover. Cover has wear on corners, edges and especially at top of spine. Pages before the title page are missing. There is writing on some early pages, some in marker, but text is good. I don't see tears, and while spine is a beat loose, all pages are still attached. Next we have "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes," eight popular stories by A. Conan Doyle and illus. by Cheslie D'Andrea. This has a 1955 copyright date and no. 1624 on the back cover. Cover has wear on edges and corners and damage along the spine. Thin plastic coating is peeling in some areas too. Spine is loose, but all still attached. Price inside cover, otherwise pages are clean and not torn.These books are duplicates, we'll have other copies available eventually. Books will weigh about 1 pound 8 oz. when packaged for mailing. Postage is included for US buyers (media rate).
