This looks like a great reference book for glass paperweights.
Another inside page says ‘This edition is limited to 2,000 copies, of which 500 are numbered and constitute the original “de luxe” edition.’
This edition does NOT appear to be one of the numbered copies.
The copyright date is listed as 1955, by Paul Jokelson.
The book has 254 pages.
The book looks to be in good condition, especially considering its age.
It doesn’t look it was ever read, or open much. There is no writing on the pages.
There is some slight discoloration on the pages at the start and end of the book, facing the cover.
There is very minor soiling to the outside edges of the book.
There is some light soiling on some areas of the book cover.
There is no dustjacket with this book, and it is not known if one came with it originally.
The spine is slightly cracked between pages 64 and 65, and 112 and 113.
Please note that this book does have an odor to it.
I am not sure what the odor is, but it definitely smells. The smell is not smoke. It might be a musty or mildew smell.
It is not known if this odor will eventually air out.
There are methods to remove odor from books detailed on the internet by using baking soda or kitty litter.
